Requirement for admission to ASP
- Admissions will be based on the student's academic performance.
- Candidates for the MA degree in Asian Studies must have a Bachelor's degree and for the Certificate in Asian Studies must have completed one semester of study at the home institution.
Time Limits on Submission
Applications for admission to ASP, together with all necessary supporting documents, must be received in the following period :
May 2 - July 23 for the fall semester
October 10 - January 20 for the spring semester
Materials to Be Submitted
• Master's degree
- Completed copies of the Application for Admission ( Application Form)
- Official transcripts of all college work completed
- A statement of purpose explaining the application's current goals and career plans ( Study Plan)
- A copy of Passport and Alien Registration
- Three passport-sized photographs
- TOEFL scores or other proof of English proficiency (If the applicants are not a native speaker in English)
- Application fee : 50,000 won
Selection process
Selection is based on evidence that the applicant will be able to pursue successfully a program of study leading to a graduate degree in the chosen field and an oral entrance examination administered by the University.
Housing
University-operated housings can be provided to international students. Students who wish to obtain housing in apartments should write to the Graduate School before the regular semester begins.

Financial Regulations
Tuition and fees listed here are for the 2012 academic year. Several generous scholarships are available. The tuition is currently 3,520,000 won per semester with a one-time entrance fee of 990,000 won. But we offer a scholarship for all ASP students. The scholarship covers about 60% of the entrance fee and 60% of tuition.
