Notice of the 83rd Summer (August) Commencement Ceremony

Congratulations on your graduation! We sincerely wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors.

We are pleased to inform you that the 83rd Summer (August) Commencement Ceremony will be held as follows. All graduating students are kindly requested to attend and make the event more meaningful.

1. Date & Venue

• Date & Time: Friday, August 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM

• Venue: Daeyang Hall (Main Auditorium, Sejong University)

2. Participants

• Graduating students of August 2025 and their families

3. Diploma & Certificate Case Distribution

• Available after the ceremony at each department office

• Please claim within 6 months after graduation. Reissuance is not possible in case of loss.

4. Important Notes

• Please enter the hall at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Entry will not be permitted once the ceremony begins.

• Graduating students should be seated on the 1st floor in the designated section for their college, while parents/guests are kindly asked to take seats on the 2nd floor.

• Individual photography during the ceremony is not allowed.

• Early departure during the ceremony is strictly prohibited. Please remain seated until the conclusion of the ceremony to show respect to fellow graduates.

5. Academic Gown Rental

• Eligible Students: Undergraduate graduates who did not apply for advance rental

• Rental Time: Friday, August 22, 2025, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (limited availability; rental may close once gowns are out of stock)

• Rental Location & Procedure:

  • Student Union Building, Room 401 (General Student Council Office)

  • Required: Valid physical ID (driver’s license, resident registration card, or personal credit card), a deposit of 100,000 KRW (cash only), and submission of the rental agreement & consent form

• Return: By 6:00 PM on August 22, 2025, to Student Union Building, 6th floor

6. Parking Information

• Free exit at Main and Rear Gates between 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM on August 22

• Parking at the Daeyang AI Center is not available
